Our Story

Southern Gold was founded from a strong desire to make the world a better place. Our vision goes beyond just honey — we aim to build a sustainability network of companies and communities working together to protect nature, support farmers, and inspire mindful consumption. By collaborating with like-minded individuals and organisations, we believe we can create lasting change, starting with something as simple as raw, authentic honey.

In a world where adulterated and irradiated products have become far too common, we’ve chosen a different path. Our honey is crafted with integrity — no shortcuts, no additives — just the best of what nature offers, preserved through care and respect.

Our Honey Is Meticulously Processed

Our honey is raw, local, sustainably and ethically harvested, and never adulterated. We work gently with each batch — often receiving it crystallised, then slowly warming it between 41–44°C over several days, allowing the honey to liquefy gently without ever damaging its natural enzymes or health-giving properties. The result is a product that retains its integrity, flavour, and vitality — honey as it should be.
